Mr. Bertram
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Mr. Bertram app. They sit alongside Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies. Where the two differ, these terms govern, as far as Apple's agreement allows.
The lessons and Bertram's replies are general guidance on manners, dress, food, wine and culture. They are not professional advice of any kind. Customs vary by place and by house, and good judgement on the night is yours. Bertram's replies are written by an AI model and can be wrong; check anything that matters.
Lessons about wine and spirits are for adults of legal drinking age where they live. Drink responsibly, or not at all.
The lessons, the writing and the design of the app belong to its publisher. Images of works of art are shown under the licences their museums publish them with, credited beneath each one. You may use the app for your own learning; please don't copy or republish its content.
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, and total liability is limited to what you paid for the membership in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
These terms may be updated. If a change matters, the app will say so before it takes effect, and continuing to use it after that means you accept the new terms.
